Arthur Tapuwa Matondo
Arthur Matondo was born on the 24
th of June 1968. He holds a degree of Bachelor of Architecture from (Copperbelt University-Zambia) from 1994 – 1998. Arthur is a professional Architect and has worked in South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe (IAZ) and Architect Council of Zimbabwe (ACZ). He is currently President of Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe from 2015 to date and formerly was vice president Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe from 2011 to 2013. Arthur is a practicing Architect in South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP PrArch20968). He was also a part time Lecturer in Construction Technology at National University of Science & Technology (NUST) 3rd – 5th year (2013)
Arthur is an experienced Architect with 18 years post graduate experience and registered with the Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe (IAZ) and South African Council of the Architectural Profession (SACAP). My experience encompasses 14 years as a practicing Architect in Zimbabwe and South Africa in addition to 5 years as a Properties and Premises Manager for Standard Chartered Bank and the Zimbabwe Posts and Telecommunications Company (PTC). My experience and clientele encompasses banks, high rise buildings, service stations, various residential and commercial builds. My pre-university experience also encompasses 5 years as an Architectural Technician.
