Tinashe Mushakavanhu
Tinashe Mushakavanhu is a Zimbabwean writer and editor. He graduated with a First Class honors degree in English from Midlands State University; obtained an MA in Creative Writing from Trinity College, Carmarthen in Wales and completed his PhD in English at the University of Kent, in the UK. He co-edited with David Nettleingham,
State of the Nation: Contemporary Zimbabwean Poetry (2009) and co-edited with Filippo Menozzi and Bahriye Kemal,
Visa Stories: Experiences Between Law and Migration (2013). Since 2015 he has partnered with
Nontsikelelo Mutiti to form Black Chalk and Co, a creative agency that initiates research based projects that result in publications, alternative archives and events about Zimbabwe and the African diaspora.
