Guided Tours

Guided Tours of our Exhibition Spaces are facilitated to encourage students and members of the General Public to further understand the concepts behind our exhibitions and broaden their knowledge regarding any particular artworks. Guides, Docents and Attendants make the exhibition experience enriched by the provision of information that should aid the viewer concerning the background and philosophy a particular artists may have. For visiting schools and groups, it is important to note that you can book with our Education and Public Programmes Department on 04-704 666/7 extension 30. Booking forms are available online and at the Gallery.

Walkabouts with artists can also be organised with advance planning.

A guide through artworks displayed in the changing exhibitions. This will be done through a questionnaire or self-guide

    A guide through the permanent collection of African artefacts in the MMCZ gallery. A questionnaire with an exercise will be available for children of all ages.
    Pre- booked guided tour to be arranged between the institute / school and the Education Officer.

    Groups who have not booked may request for a guided tour if the Education Officer or Support Level Staff are available.
