People living with HIV and AIDS find themselves stigmatised by the society and some of them have no access to the right treatment. With over 36.7 million people globally living with HIV in 2016, this day tries to raise awareness on the need for quality health care that is readily available and accessible for everyone. The #myrighttohealth campaign will provide information about the right to health and what impact it has on people’s lives. It will also aim to show the need to achieve the full realization of the right to health by everyone, everywhere. The need to end the AIDS epidemic has ensured massive progress towards HIV treatment and around 20.9 million people living with HIV/AIDS now have access to medical facilities
