week10 Cripps Lindy Pit of fools 76x30 cmPit of Fools By Lindy Cripps
 From behind a curtain, the harlequin emerges leering down at a quartet of spectators. Their demi-sepulchral forms are engrossed in the exploits on stage left;

the extended hand of the performer, an invitation to the performance.
A brooding study in greyscale, decay of positive value complementing the negative. Who is the actor and who is not if all the world is a stage and at many intervals in this world, one is different to a preceding stage. Wisdom and foolery is experiential, and in both, there is one thing to be gained. Perspective.
