The Artwork of the week is a painting by two former National Gallery of Zimbabwe School of Visual Art and Design students, Franklyn Dzingayi and Varaidzo Gwede. It was part of the HIV/AIDS campaign at the school in 2012.
This Week we are celebrating The Zero Discrimination Day which will be held on 01 March 2016. The observance of this day is aiming to combat all forms of discrimination. In particular, this involves the organization of UNAIDS and their fight for a fair and equal treatment of patients suffering from HIV and AIDS.
Franklyn and Varaidzo’s work promotes diversity and recognizes that everyone counts. It sightsees everyone’s right to live a full life with dignity regardless of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnicity, skin colour, height, weight, profession, education, and beliefs
