This year’s Zimbabwe Annual Exhibition is the second exhibition from last year after fifteen years without any annual exhibition due to different economic barriers and is the reflection of a one decade long national exhibition which has been abandoned and it seeks to build a relevant art industry that will help uncover Zimbabwe’s culture and potential to produce more. It will run under the theme “Mharidzo” which is set to highlight the growth opportunities and prospects in the region and related sectors of the art industry.
With the theme Mharidzo, artist are seen as prophet who preach the gospel through their artworks which have different meanings that are portrayed to the people in the country.
