The National Gallery of Zimbabwe in conjunction with Glue and Chemical Products presents the Pritt Holiday Art Camp which will run from Monday April 16 to Friday April 20, 2012. Running from 0900 to 1300 hours each day, the Pritt Holiday Art Camp will be divided into three categories; the 6-9, 10-13 and the 15-20 year old. This program, which falls under the Department of Education at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, serves to provide the youth with a space in which to gain knowledge of the arts and develop their visual creative abilities under the guidance of a visual arts instructor. The Art Camp will also allow children to explore various mediums of art including painting, drawing and crafts as well as teaching them to interact with their peers from different walks of life. For the sum of USD $25, which is payable at the Gallery Reception desk everyday from 0900 to 1700 hours till Friday 13 April 2012, the Art Camp will be worth every dime as children will not only emerge artistically equipped but will also be awarded with certificates and prizes in recognition of their talent. Family and friends are welcome for the graduation which will take place on Friday, April 20, 2012. Due to limited space, people are urged to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. |
