The Problem of Money By Morris Moyounoziva
Five figures in conflict, the larger wielding two spears while two bodies at center appear to attempt to resolve the conflict.
The second largest of the quintet parries a blow from the spear while the last, to the extreme right, raises a shield and prepares to counterattack.
Perhaps pecuniary issues can be outlined either as the stemming cause of the conflict at bay, while the lesser considered means of violence such as financial abuse, reflect the difference in scale between the figures in composition, that is, the greater form being wealthier, while the smallest, being the underprivileged.
In observance of the World Day of Social Justice, the lens is cast to the wage gap and the ever increasing means that wealth is used to subdue people the world over, regardless of race, gender and faith.
