The ArtLife Gallery & Gift Shop and Sanctuary Café

The Gallery operates a popular Sales shop and Café outlet overlooking an inviting sculpture garden. At the moment the attraction of the eclectic goods and delicious menu are combining to attract the discerning clients who want to pop in for a coffee or glass of wine and chat; take in the latest exhibition or simply ‘do lunch’ in a stylish and happening environment.
The National Gallery ArtLife Gallery and Gift Shop offers a wide range of art products, namely ceramics, sculpture, paintings, textiles, jewellery, books, artefacts, design and other authentic gifts; all inspired by the African culture and tradition of Zimbabwe. Look out for the new Collection range to mark our 60th Diamond Jubilee!
The shop plays a significant role in generating revenue to support the Gallery’s programmes. It also plays an important role in enhancing the visitor’s experience of the National Gallery by extending awareness of the Gallery’s collection and sustain contact with the Gallery long after the visit.
The shop caters for various customers and buyers, namely art collectors, shop owners, individual buyers, children, art students, etc. and can be group according to Art for the Home and Corporate Art. The paintings and sculpture are mainly from established and recognised artists although there is a special section for up and coming students of art.
Professional packaging or crating of goods is carried out in-house and the Sales Gallery staff will organise for shipment to anywhere in the world.
The links with Zimbabwean embassies overseas also make it possible for sculpture, photographic and painting exhibition to take place beyond our borders.

National Gallery of Zimbabwe- In Bulawayo

The National Gallery in Bulawayo is growing and bursting at the seams with potential. A major art institution in Matabeleland, boasting a magnificent building right at the centre of the City of Kings, the Gallery experiences the hustle and bustle of city life in a passionate manner. The Gallery is housed in the wonderful historic building known as Douslin House and attracts the passer-by through its large shop-front windows that real all works of art to the public. The Gallery houses attractive gift shop and splendid restaurant that is one of the favourite easting spots in the City of Kings.

National Gallery of Zimbabwe- In Mutare

Opened in 1999, the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Mutare is situated in a historical building known as Kopje House. Kopje House was built in 1897 as the first hospital in Mutare. The Gallery serves the artistic community in Mutare and is a showcase for the work of many artists that reside in Manicaland.
