She is currently a third year student at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe’s Visual Art Studios. She has participated in several exhibitions including the 2008 Cottco exhibition. In 2008 she received a Highly Commended Certificate at Delta Gallery. Her themes mainly centre on depicting the beauty of the African woman, but there are also some of her paintings which explore the multiple experiences of us as a people, alive in countryside and city, while other paintings depict hope, misery, disillusionment and bewilderment. Her landscapes celebrate the peculiar forms of Zimbabwe’s countryside, which makes us see the familiar in a new way. And in her abstract paintings she explores the state of mind beyond familiar forms and colours.
