Raphael Jamu   attended Chebanga Primary School where at age seven he found art and started drawing ,he carried on at Mhangura Secondary School where he attained his A’s and O’s including art .He has taught art at many schools including Lomagundi Primary College ,Lomagndi College ,Karuru Primary School and Chinhoyi 2 Hiigh

Raphael moved to Baltimore in 1997 to attend the Maryland Insttute of Art ,where he received a B.F.A degree.Since then , with the exception of one semester in Pensacola Florida,he has lived in Baltimore , participating in the areas arts festivals as wll as solo shows in Baltimore He was accepted into the Third Annual Juried Exhibition of Resurgam Gallery in Baltimore meanwhile Raphaelcontinued on the Festival circuit ass well as working on commission
