FOG, in collaboration with the E.U. Commission held their second exciting ‘Bag an Artist’ auction following on from their first auction in 2005 at the French Ambassadors residence which proved a huge success.  The theme of the 2009 event was ‘Bags of Hope’, collectable bags containing personal messages of hope....more

Our most prized possession is the Sculpture Garden which boasts of some chosen pieces acquired as early as 1957 when the gallery was officially opened to the public.
We host some of the best annual exhibitions such as the World Press Photo, Cottco Exhibition, Allied Arts Children Exhibition, Gwanza Photographic Show and HIFA.
We have a Sales shop with an eclectic collection of goods that comprise of wooden and stone sculptures, paintings, handmade cards, craft works and textile materials.
We house antique, original and contemporary African and European pieces of works in our Permanent Collection.
We house an Internet café that provides excellent modern day technology and a coffee shop that excites your appetite with a delicacy of delicious foods.
We are hosting one of the most flagshot exhibitions of 2010 that coincides with the World Cup Soccer Tournament titled Live and Direct opening 25 May to 31 July.
